There are three classes of driver's licenses in Ontario:
G1 - written test
G2 - road test
G - advanced road test

Passing the G2 Road Test
It is highly recommended that you attend a few classes with a certified driving instructor before your G2 road test. The driving instructor will teach you the key maneuvers the examiner will be looking for during the road test:
Reverse parking
Parallel parking
Checking your blind spots
What to do at a stop sign
What to do at a set of traffic lights
How to make a complete left turn
How to park down hill
How to park up hill
While the examiner will not be looking for perfection, you must meet ministry standards in order to be upgraded to a G2 license.
