Read Part I of this article here: Buying A Car In Canada
Below is a guide and some websites through which you can conveniently buy (or sell) a car in Canada.
Clutch has an easy-to-use, user-friendly website that helps you filter through make, model, pricing etc. to find the car that best suits your needs.
Clutch puts your mind at ease from start to finish in the buying process. You can upload your information (buy's contact details, driver's license info, employment info, bank statements etc.) on their website and you will usually hear back from them within 24 hours. If your application is successful, they will source lenders for you (if you are financing the car) and assist you in comparing interest rates.
Canada Drives is another good website for your buying journey. They are able to pre-approve you through their website (for financing) and will reach out to you to recommend solutions (e.g.: if you need a co-signer based on your income or credit history).
Auto Trade is another reliable source for buying and selling cars. They have an impressive fleet of cars that you can choose from by indicating your location/postal code.
Alternatively, you can do it the old-fashioned way by walking into a local car dealership and speaking to a sales rep about your needs. When buying a car online or in person, be sure that you are able to view the CARFAX Report for the vehicle so that you can see it's comprehensive history, including possible past accidents and insurance claims made on the vehicle.
Happy buying!
